Unakite is a metamorphosed and hydrothermally altered granitic rock composed mainly of pink potassium feldspar, green epidote, and quartz.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms when granite undergoes epidotization and metasomatic alteration, replacing portions of feldspar and mafic minerals with epidote while preserving quartz and pink feldspar.
