Tremolite

SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Tremolite is a calcium-magnesium amphibole, Ca₂Mg₅Si₈O₂₂(OH)₂, forming white, gray, pale green, bladed, prismatic, or fibrous material. Nephrite jade can consist largely of tightly intergrown tremolite-actinolite fibers.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms during metamorphism of magnesium-rich carbonate rocks and ultramafic rocks, especially in marbles, skarns, and metasomatic zones.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Tremolite is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
