Titanium Quartz is a commercially ambiguous name. It may refer to natural quartz containing rutile or other titanium-bearing inclusions, or to quartz that has been vapor-coated with titanium to create rainbow 'aura' colors.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Natural included material forms when quartz grows around titanium minerals; aura material is modified after mining by vacuum deposition of metal on the quartz surface.
