Stilbite
SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Stilbite is a zeolite-group mineral, commonly stilbite-Ca, forming white, peach, pink, cream, or colorless sheaf-like and tabular crystals.
GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms in basalt cavities and low-temperature hydrothermal veins with apophyllite, heulandite, calcite, and other zeolites. India is a major commercial source.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Stilbite is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
