Stibnite

SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Stibnite is antimony sulfide, Sb₂S₃, forming metallic lead-gray bladed, acicular, and radiating crystals. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system and has perfect cleavage.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms in low-temperature hydrothermal veins and hot-spring systems, commonly with quartz, calcite, realgar, orpiment, and cinnabar.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Stibnite is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Its dense metallic character is traditionally interpreted as a reminder to keep abstract goals connected to practical reality. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
