Quartz Geode
SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Quartz Geode is a variety, growth habit, or included form of quartz, silicon dioxide (SiO₂). Quartz crystallizes in the trigonal system and has a Mohs hardness of 7; color and internal textures reflect trace elements, inclusions, irradiation, or growth conditions.
GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Quartz forms in hydrothermal veins, pegmatites, igneous rocks, metamorphic fissures, and sedimentary environments. Repeated changes in silica-rich fluids can create phantoms, inclusions, coatings, skeletal growth, or complex zoning.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Quartz Geode is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Quartz's clarity and repeated growth stages give the material symbolism of focus, amplification, and intentions becoming more organized over time. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
