Phosphosiderite
SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Phosphosiderite is hydrated iron phosphate, FePO₄·2H₂O, typically lavender, violet, pink, yellow, or brown. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system and occurs as prismatic crystals, nodules, crusts, and massive material.
GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms as a secondary phosphate mineral in oxidized iron-phosphate deposits and altered pegmatites, commonly with strengite, rockbridgeite, and other phosphate minerals.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Phosphosiderite is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
