Phenacite

SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Phenacite is beryllium silicate, Be₂SiO₄, crystallizing in the trigonal system. It forms colorless, white, pale yellow, or pink glassy rhombohedral to prismatic crystals and has unusually high hardness for its often delicate appearance.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It occurs in granitic pegmatites, hydrothermal veins, and metamorphic rocks enriched in beryllium. Notable sources include Brazil, Russia, Madagascar, Norway, and the United States.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Phenacite is traditionally associated with intuition, meditation, perspective, and personal transformation. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for examining patterns from a wider viewpoint and creating mental space for reflection. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
