Pargasite

Pargasite

Pargasite

SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Pargasite is a calcium-magnesium-aluminum amphibole mineral that commonly appears dark green, brown-green, or black. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system and can occur as prismatic crystals or granular masses.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It forms in high-grade metamorphic rocks, marbles, skarns, and some mantle-derived rocks under calcium- and magnesium-rich conditions.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Pargasite is traditionally associated with clarity, balance, resilience, and intentional personal growth. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for reflecting on priorities and choosing a more deliberate response instead of reacting automatically. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
