Morganite

SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Morganite is the pink to peach gem variety of beryl, Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈. Manganese is the principal color-producing element, and crystals form in the hexagonal system.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
It crystallizes mainly in lithium- and beryllium-rich granitic pegmatites with quartz, feldspar, mica, tourmaline, and spodumene. Major sources include Brazil, Madagascar, Afghanistan, Mozambique, and the United States.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Morganite is traditionally associated with compassion, emotional honesty, self-worth, and healthy connection. Its natural structure, color, and geological history provide a symbolic framework for approaching change with greater awareness. Practitioners commonly use it as a contemplative aid for softening defensive reactions while preserving clear personal boundaries. These associations are part of crystal traditions and are not scientifically established medical effects.
