Lemurian Seed Crystal is a metaphysical trade name for quartz, SiO₂, typically characterized by pronounced horizontal growth striations on one or more prism faces. The striations are ordinary quartz growth features created by stepwise crystal development; there is no recognized mineralogical category corresponding to 'Lemurian' quartz.
GEOLOGY & FORMATION
