Heulandite is a zeolite-group name historically used for several closely related hydrated aluminosilicate minerals, most commonly heulandite-Ca. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system and forms tabular, coffin-shaped, bladed, or radiating crystals in white, peach, pink, red, yellow, and colorless varieties.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Heulandite-group minerals form at low temperatures in cavities of basaltic volcanic rocks, altered volcanic ash, sedimentary zeolite deposits, and hydrothermal veins. They commonly occur with stilbite, apophyllite, calcite, chabazite, and other zeolites. India, Iceland, Scotland, and the western United States are notable sources.
