Creedite is a hydrated calcium aluminum sulfate fluoride hydroxide mineral with the formula Ca₃Al₂(SO₄)(F,OH)₁₀·2H₂O. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system and commonly forms radiating sprays and clusters of colorless, white, lilac, or orange prismatic crystals.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Creedite forms in fluorine-rich hydrothermal systems and oxidized ore deposits, commonly as a late-stage mineral in cavities. It is associated with fluorite, barite, calcite, limonite, and sulfide mineralization. Important specimens come from Mexico, China, Nevada, Colorado, and several other mining districts.
