Native Copper is the elemental mineral Cu and crystallizes in the isometric system. It commonly forms branching dendrites, wires, sheets, distorted crystals, and massive metallic aggregates. Fresh copper is salmon-pink to reddish metallic, while exposure to air and moisture can create brown, black, green, or blue alteration products.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Native copper forms in several geological settings, including basalt-hosted deposits, hydrothermal veins, sediment-hosted copper systems, and supergene enrichment zones. Famous large native copper masses come from Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, with important occurrences also in Arizona, Chile, Kazakhstan, Australia, and other copper districts.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Copper is traditionally associated with energy movement, confidence, creativity, abundance, and strengthening connections between ideas and action.
