Conichalcite is a calcium copper arsenate hydroxide mineral with the formula CaCu(AsO₄)(OH). It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system and commonly forms bright apple-green to yellow-green crusts, botryoidal aggregates, and small prismatic crystals. Its color reflects copper in the crystal structure.

GEOLOGY & FORMATION
Conichalcite is a secondary mineral of oxidized copper deposits, especially where arsenic-bearing primary minerals have weathered in calcium-rich conditions. It commonly occurs with malachite, adamite, olivenite, limonite, and other supergene minerals. Important occurrences are found in Mexico, Spain, Namibia, Chile, Australia, the United States, and elsewhere.
