Auralite-23
SCIENCE / MINERALOGY
Auralite-23 is a trade name for amethyst-bearing quartz material from the Thunder Bay region of Ontario, Canada, commonly showing red hematite-rich caps or inclusions. Claims that every specimen contains exactly 23 minerals are not scientifically justified; individual pieces vary greatly, and many reported trace phases require analytical verification.
GEOLOGY & FORMATION
The material occurs in ancient Canadian Shield geology where quartz veins and amethyst mineralization developed through hydrothermal processes. Iron oxides such as hematite can coat crystal faces or occur as inclusions. The locality is geologically old, but the age of the host rocks should not automatically be presented as the exact crystallization age of every quartz specimen without specific dating.
METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Auralite-23 is traditionally associated with meditation, energetic alignment, transformation, and integrating spiritual insight with grounded awareness. Because it combines amethyst with visible iron-rich material, practitioners often interpret it as balancing higher perception with stability and embodiment. It is commonly used for intensive reflection, breaking repetitive patterns, and resetting priorities during periods of major personal change.
